ABOUT THE IFSA

Introduction

The International Federation of Scientific Associations, established in Helsinki, Finland on June 30, 1983, is an international non-governmental organization and an international scientific organization.

The purpose of the International Federation of Scientific Associations is to unite international science enthusiasts; to promote, popularize and promote the prosperity and development of various scientific fields; to strengthen the cooperation between members of the International Federation of Scientific Associations and scientific associations of various countries; participate in international scientific research matters and undertake scientific-related consulting work, etc.

The founding members of the International Federation of Scientific Associations are from relevant scientific groups in Finland, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Nigeria, Belgium, Australia and other countries. At present, there are scientific association members in 47 countries and regions, including 31 regular members, 9 specially invited members, and 7 observation members, which gather experts and scholars in various fields of science, and reflect the frontier issues of common concern to the scientific community. It represents the current level and direction of scientific development in the world.
